The Technical School of Electronics in Bydgoszcz (Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych w Bydgoszczy) is a public school with its seat in 20 Karłowicza street in the city centre and is managed by the Mayor of the City of Bydgoszcz. The tradition of the school dates back to the year 1968, when the The Technical College of Electronics in Bydgoszcz was established by the regulation of the Council of Ministers. At the moment the Technical School of Electronics in Bydgoszcz comprises: The Technical College of Electronics, teaching such professions like: technician of electronics, ICT technician, IT technician and the Vocational School of Electronics. Thanks to comfortable housing conditions, equipment of ZSE, the organization of teaching processes as well as experienced and qualified staff it is possible to fully execute all the assumptions of the teaching program. The students make use of modern professional labs, adapted to examinations in selected professional qualifications, as well as the class rooms equipped with audiovisual systems: multimedia projectors, interactive boards, laptops, TV sets.
The school effectively cooperates with local entrepreneurs, companies and professional organizations. As part of traineeship, internship and specialization, students enhance their knowledge and professional skills in real working conditions. The teaching concept adopted by the Technical School of Electronics contributes not only to development of professional competence, but also trains social and personal skills on running own business, speaking foreign languages and working in small teams. Students of the Technical School of Electronics can participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The school has also implemented programs co-financed by the ESF under the “Career Horizons” project.
Broad talents and young people’s interest as well as the joint effort of teachers and students result in many successes in contests in certain subjects, sports events and competitions. In the teaching process the school puts great emphasis on the development of students’ high professional skills and their preparation for the functioning on the labor market and in adult life. Since the first National Ranking of the Technical schools called ‘Perspectives’ our school ranks among the top five best technical schools in Poland. In 2015 The Technical College of Electronics took the 3rd place in the country and the first place in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province in that ranking. A year later, it took 1st place and received the Best Polish Technical College title. Each year many graduates of the technical collage successfully take and continue their education at various types of universities. During more than 40 years of its history the Technical School of Electronic has been successful in many areas, which proves the highest quality of education. It combines the tradition with the future in a beautiful way. The school is an unquestionable leader in the city and the region.
